Gloomhaven - Card Design
I worked on designing the overall look for the cards in Gloomhaven, a digital version of the popular physical board game of the same name.
The cards feature two large areas for text,. These act as a choice to the player, allowing them to pick the top half or bottom half of the card to perform their move in the game. Each card has its own colour scheme and render which is linked to that characters deck.
Early wireframes and concepts with reference images to help explain thought process and visuals.
The chosen wireframe was developed.
I wanted the cards to feel valuable and also make use of some nice textures.
Each Character has a different colour card theme.
