Zombie Army 4 : Dead War - Tutorial Cards
I worked on creating the menu layout and styling of the tutorial images used ingame for Zombie Army 4 Dead War by Rebellion.
The tutorial images themselves are based on the idea of being postcards. Creating them involved posing 3D models using the inhouse engine and exporting their renders in to Photoshop for styling. I came up with a flexible layer structure which would allow the large quantity of images to be made efficiently while meeting the same quality standards. I documented my process so other members of the UI team could make new tutorial assest as they were required.
Each tutorial was based off a posed screenshot with image treatments applied. The process was streamlined as much as possible to allow efficient image creation for a large amount of assets. Graphical elements were drawn on top to enhance the purpose of the image.
